Gordon, I know there have been some frustrating times with the book for you, but we never know who we are reaching and why. Good for you for getting it out there. it is a gift.

Gordon, preliminary congratulations on your anniversary next week! Fifty-five years is seldom reached these days. Kudos to you! And I'll keep you and your daughter in my thoughts. Is there any hope for her or is her condition really terminal?

In my current Gather image the background is Photoshop again. The rest of me, unfortunately, is real. ( ;

It looks like I fooled you... If you were in the North Pole you must know there are no polar bears in the south! Lawnguiland is that long island sticking off the bottom of New York! Ah, the wonders of Photoshop!

It wouldn't go through again, so I copied it again and will paste it below!
Hi Gordon,
This probably isn't going to work again, but thought I would try anyway! It just keeps saying there was an error! I wrote a big long message last night, but of course it didn't go out either! Your job sounded very nice!
If you would like to swap books that is okay with me! Just send your home address to my personal email jedlolsen@windstream.net and I will send you one, plus send my address, but not on here please.

Gordon, I don't seem to be able to return you messages? It just tells me there is an error when I try to send a reply?

This was my message that I sent you just before I pinged you, but it said there was an error so I figured it didn't go out!
Hi Gordon,
Always happy to hear from another small town PA person! Actually I was brought up around Franklin, PA . We lived in a little burg outside of Franklin called Hannaville. It is between Franklin and Cochranton on route 322. My husband was brought up here in Cochranton!
My book has been out since February 2007 and has done okay, but I can't afford to advertise it as I would like. It is sold in all book stores, if they don't have it in stock they will order it for you, but places like Barnes and Noble and Amazon.com have the price jack way up so they can make their big bucks! I sell them at my jewelry shop too in Jackson Center, PA much cheaper than they do! With my publisher I have to pay for every little thing they do as far as promotion is concerned and I just can't afford to do much, so it isn't going out as I would like.
My husband and I have just celebrated our 40th Anniversary on April 26th!
Nice to meet you Gordon!

Hi Gordon,
I just tried to email you, but it said there was an error, so it probably didn't go out! It did the same thing when I tried emailing another gather friend last night! I hate it when they are always changing things, there are always gliches to put up with! Let me know if you get my message, if not, we can write through my regular email address!
Nice to meet you Gordon!

It is amazing what the brain can do and the rapid changes in how to evaluate brain injury. However it still remains hard for many to find cognitive re-training in local communities.
